Intel sent Twitch streamer GiantWaffle all the way to Stockholm, Sweden for a behind-the-scenes look at Vermintide 2*, the newest first-person action title from Fatshark Games*. Over the course of a 4-video series, GiantWaffle will speak to the developers and get some in-depth insight into the development process, tips for playing the game effectively, and how Vermintide 2* was optimized for Intel® hardware.

In this first video, GiantWaffle learns what exciting new features were added to Vermintide 2* to differentiate it from Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide*. He also gets a chance to hear what the developers were most excited to focus on and how they implemented feedback gathered from fans and reviewers. Long-time enthusiasts of the Vermintide* series and the Warhammer* universe will be happy to find out how Fatshark* Games* added new elements to each new title in the series, to meet or exceed fan expectations and give players what they really want to see.

One big detail GiantWaffle discovers is how Fatshark Games* optimized the game to run both on high-end Intel® Core™ processor based PCs as well as smaller PCs such as an Intel® NUC. This optimization allows players to jump into Vermintide 2* and get a high-quality experience regardless of what Intel® processor-based PC they’re playing on. This is especially important considering how Vermintide 2* functions as a 4-player co-op experience, allowing for friends to jump in and play with one another from a variety of PCs.

Weeks 2, 3, and 4 continue with a behind-the-scenes studio tour, an in-depth look at the technical improvements in Vermintide 2*, and a livestream highlight of Giantwaffle playing through one of the levels! Check out the first video in the series and be sure to watch the upcoming videos when they drop in the coming weeks.
