Last week, Activision* unveiled the latest iteration of its immensely popular, ongoing shooter franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4* during a reveal event in Los Angeles. Throngs of fans and press showed up to partake in the announcement festivities to learn about what surprises are in store for us this fall.
In addition to traditional multiplayer, fans will have an enhanced Zombies mode and a brand new battle royale mode called Blackout. The new BR mode will feature classic Black Ops playable characters across a colossal map inspired by fan favorites and classic Black Ops weapons with different ammo types and equipment that players must loot and scavenge in the map. Players will also find and drive land, sea, and air vehicles.
This time around, Treyarch* prioritized PC development by tasking the largest PC-focused team in the history of the series with providing a fully-optimized PC experience.
